A few days ago, I posted that my buddies were headed out across the US of A on motorcycles, and that photo extraordinaire, Oliver Hutton was blogging it up. But I just noticed that my buddy JJ, who is on the trip, is also documenting the journey over at his blog. Check it out and watch them have a better summer than any of us.

There is a new Target in Oakland and its parking lot received some great steel sculptures from local artist, Mark Bulwinkle. I had seen his super fun characters all around the east bay and elsewhere so I was excited to check them out. —Tim

I checked out an opening at nooworks gallery on valencia last saturday featuring works by Audrey Erickson, Hannah Stouffer, Kelly Tunstall, Jay Howell, Nate Hooper and Ferris Plock.
