Musica
Hello. Musical month in Oakland. Here are two upcoming bills that I am very excited to attend. First, Oakland's favorite record store,1-2-3-4-go! records, is turning ten. Look at this bill.

Then Seattles, The Trashies, brought to my attention that they will be playing this upcoming bill.
The trashies also have an album coming out this week, so here's a sweet new tune to check out and see you at the show.
Human Eye: They Came from the Sky
Took the advice from the guy at 1234gorecords today and picked up the new album from Human Eye: They Came from the Sky. Needless to say, It flat out rules. guys are pushing it. Really not many places to listen to the album online, so preview instant favorite track: the movie was real and if you dig it, then buy the album.

Summer Beard Vol. 1
New Zine out from everyone's favorite, Tom Roe. This 3 color silkscreen covered zine is chock full of photos, illustrations, and beards! Better snag one quick right here.

I received this interesting info about a building that I like to visit via flickr. Pretty cool if its true: "This is the Press Wireless Radio Building located in the Napa-Sonoma Marsh. It was owned by the United Press and the building was used to collect and route information coming from satellites. Its reportedly the first location in the United States to receive communication from space and alerted the world to the existence of Sputnik when they accidentally picked up communication from the spacecraft." Thanks, Chris Hattich.
